Wild Mushroom and Bacon Gnocchi

Serves 2 (double ingredients for a family of 4) 

Ingredients

½ a Jar Homepride Creamy Mushroom Sauce 
250g mixed wild mushrooms 
80g diced pancetta or bacon 
300 gnocchi 
1 tbsp mascarpone or soft cheese 
100g garden peas (optional) 
Fresh flat leaf parsley and parmesan or hard cheese for grating over the top (optional) 

Method

  1. Fry the pancetta or bacon until golden brown, add the wild mushrooms and fry until cooked. 
  2. Pour onto a plate.  Heat up the same pan and add a spoonful of butter to melt. 
  3. Add the gnocchi and fry until golden brown.   
  4. Add the mushroom mix back to the pan. 
  5. Add the Homepride Creamy Mushroom Sauce, mascarpone and peas (optional) and cook until the sauce is piping hot (approx. 3-4 minutes). 

 

Serve and top with chopped parsley and grated parmesan (optional).
