Chicken & Prawn Paella

Serves 4

Ingredients

½ a jar Homepride Spanish Chicken Sauce 
180g king prawns 
200g boneless chicken thighs (diced) 
1 red pepper (diced) 
100g frozen peas 
800ml boiling water (try using chicken stock for extra flavour) 
200g paella rice 
100g diced chorizo 

Method

  1. In a large frying pan, fry off the pepper and chicken in oil until browned. 
  2. Add the chorizo a cook for 1 minute to release the oils and then add the rice, stir to coat in all the oils and flavours of the pan. 
  3. Add the water (or stock) and Homepride Spanish Chicken Sauce, allow to boil.  
  4. Lower to a simmer and cook for 25-30 minutes until the ¾ of the liquid has been absorbed, 
  5. Add king prawns and peas. Stir in, cook for 5 minutes or until the sauce has been absorbed and prawns are cooked.
